About Me

Rosemary Slade OTR Headshot

I love systems, structure and getting to the heart and root of a problem. I use my unique skillset of being able to analyze any situation and discover where the blockages are. I believe that to completely feel good, alive, vibrant, present, engaged and pursue happiness, we must be in good health. And, with good health, anything is possible!

I graduated with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy in 1996. The heart of occupational therapy is having the ability to analyze any task and discover where there is a disconnect in the person that is keeping them from completing any given task. This is in the realm of “occupation” (hence "occupational therapist"), and in activities of daily living. I have a deep understanding based on my many years of work in home-based settings about conditions affecting children and adults.

As an OTR, I became aware early on in my career over 25 years ago, that there were alternatives to traditional medicine. My focus has always been on educating myself and becoming an expert in these other alternate paths to wellness.

I wasn’t feeling well in the 1990’s. I didn’t give my diet or lifestyle much thought and I pretty much ate and drank what most typical Americans here in the United States did at that time—plenty of fast food and hardly any vegetables. I had severe PMS. I didn’t feel well on a lot of levels. I had a allergy panel done and discovered I was allergic to pretty much everything and that started my deep dive and journey into health and wellness.

About the same time, I started my occupational therapy career and the coincidence of so many families who had children recently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I spent many years supporting these families with alternative diets and food preparation. I worked alongside several fantastic open-minded dieticians at that time also. Back in the day, gluten-free was a concept, so these families had to work hard and make everything from scratch to go gluten free-casein free-soy free. It was a lot of problem solving.

A myriad of other diets personally and professionally were tried—with some "fair to good" results with myself and my clients, but never anything that fully resolved my issues until I discovered Mineral-Nutritional Balancing. I did it with myself for about a year, had fantastic results and then started suggesting it to the families I served.

I love the science aspect of the Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA). I appreciate how the HTMA  is the backbone of the Mineral-Nutritional Balancing (MNB) path. Data from the HTMA are used to design the supplementation and diet.  This is a natural fit to my skillset and why I became a certified Mineral-Nutritional balancing practitioner.

Mineral-Nutritional balancing has provided me with the mental clarity, health and stamina to thrive in this crazy toxic world. Using this valuable tool has allowed me to help people achieve optimal health and wellness. Using MNB, my goal is to help entire families feel better.

I fully recognize that starting a new eating program and lifestyle can be filled with hurdles along the way. To that end, let me put my problem-solving skills to work for you!
